What used to be a three-bedroom ranch is now a remodeled 3,600 square-foot Farmhouse-Style Colonial. An entirely new second floor addition was custom-built, allowing for four new bedrooms and three new bathrooms.

The original house was a three bedroom, 1600 square foot ranch on a level property in Chappaqua. The house was built in 1952 and the original bathrooms and kitchen had never been renovated.

The challenge was to remodel this house into a larger one that better suited the needs of today's lifestyle.
Building entirely on the existing home's footprint we removed the roof, raised the 8' ceilings on the first floor to 9', and built a second floor with four bedrooms and three bathrooms.  We enclosed the existing screened-in porch area, which became the new dining room.  The remodeled kitchen was built with cabinetry hand crafted in our own shop.

The newly remodeled house - a farmhouse-style colonial - is now 3600 square feet and has great flow and comfort.
