Bruce Woolf started his career in 1979 as a partner of a commercial window installation company in New York City. For 20 years, he worked his way through the complex market of NYC Co-op and Condo renovation. During this time, he became well versed in all phases of residential construction, remodeling and historic restoration.
In 1999, Bruce decided to take a breather from the hustle and bustle of Manhattan and moved his family to Chappaqua, NY. It was there that he realized his true passion: to build and renovate homes in Westchester County. He got his feet wet by focusing on buying, remodeling and selling those homes. Then, in 2002, Bruce created Quaker Road Associates. In the few years Quaker Road has been around, Bruce and his team have enjoyed outstanding success in the local construction arena. He hopes to continue to do more of the same in the years ahead.
Bruce is married with two daughters and lives in Chappaqua, NY.
Tim runs Quaker Road's cabinet shop and personally oversees or hand-builds nearly all of the cabinetry we provide to our clients. Spend just a few minutes with him and you'll know he's a master craftsman with a vast knowledge of all phases of residential construction.
Tim was schooled in the building trades in his home country of Turkey. He got his start working in a cabinet shop with his father, also a master carpenter, at the age of 11. Tim is truly an artisan, and his 25 years of experience sets Quaker Road Associates apart from its competitors. Tim is married and has two sons.
Prior to coming on board at Quaker Road Associates, Ray worked in the textile industry managing an import export warehouse’s textile operations in conjunction with the opening and staffing of retail stores in the textile business.
Like Tim, Savas was schooled in the construction trades in his native Turkey. After completing his requirements in the Turkish Army, he came to the United States and got work at a cabinet shop where he quickly stood out as a skilled craftsman. Savas is not only a skilled carpenter, but he acts as one of Quaker Road's foremen. Under his watchful eye, everything runs smoothly and according to plan. Mike is married and has two sons.
Kursat, too, was schooled in the construction trades in his native Turkey. He is a skilled carpenter and a master craftsperson who takes care of all of Quaker Road's tile work. Working skillfully with ceramic, stone or glass, Kursat's careful attention to detail is a fine example of old style European craftsmanship. Kursat is married and has two sons.
Fernando started working with Quaker Road Associates in 2001 as a day laborer and has been with us full time ever since.
Ercan works in our cabinet shop as Tim’s assistant and has been his apprentice since 2004. He is learning the art of cabinet making from a master craftsperson and has developed all the requisite skills required for our most demanding projects. When not in the shop Ercan works on job sites doing fine carpentry and detail work.
